What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Rohit Goel :

" For the GD the topics were very general like one was is India is ready for the electrical vehicles, and other was is internet creating gap between the physical books and the reader

and for the WAT they asked company logos and their names some dates of company acquisitions etc."

What were your answers/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Rohit Goel :

“ For the GD my answer was in against of the topics like for first topic I told them that government need to invest in better infrastructure and they should create charging stations just like we have petrol pumps or like on how a petrol pump also works as a CNG filling station so the existing pumps can also work as a charging stations etc.. “

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Rohit Goel :

"So I gave interviews for three colleges

1 SIBM Bangalore:- numbers of panel was 1 and there were 2 members and both were the faculty members, mode was offline, duration of the interview was 10 minutes, I would say it was an OK interview and they were quite good

2 SIIB Pune-numbers of panel was 1 and there were 2 members and both were the faculty members, mode was offline, duration of the interview was 10 minutes, it was little bit stressful.

3 FORE School of Management-numbers of panel was 1 and there were 3 members and all were the faculty members, mode was offline, duration of the interview was 10 minutes, and this was the last interview and I was more prepared and for me it was the easiest one "

Mention at least 5 interview questions that were asked to you and your responses to each of them.

Rohit Goel :

"Q1 Introduce yourself ?

A1 General answer (always prepared for this question but your answer should not be look like robotic)

Q2 Why MBA when you already have a job ?

A2 I talked about the reasons and the benefits if I have a MBA degree

Q3 Tell me about the responsibilities that you had during your job ?

A3 talked about the work I had done and some contributions

q4 Why MBA International Business is it because you really interested or you were not getting Call from Core subject that is why you are here.

A4 Gave them the reason and what is my aspiration after doing MBA in IB

Q5 Then Tell me some International events

A5 I talked about the tariff between America and China, I also talked about the RCEP and why India is not joining RCEP."

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted (OR if you did not join this college after converting it, mention 3 reasons for not joining it).

Rohit Goel :

"1 I got the call letter first from my current college while I was still in the waiting list of the SIBM Bangalore

2 Its rank is higher then the SIBM Bangalore

3 I got the call during the corona lockdown and I thought it is better to stay in my state so that when the college reopen then I will not find any problem "

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges?

Rohit Goel :

“ Out of the three I was not able to convert SIIB Pune and the reason that I think was that I was not able to respond to 1 question which the panel asked. I was completely numbed by that. The question was what you are going to give to the college or how you are going to contribute for the college and in response I told them that when I will become an alumni of the college I will contribute in creating a good image for the college and help my juniors in jobs or such. Although they were agreeing that it is a good thinking but still they were not satisfied by the answer because they want me to say that what i am going to do during the course duration like some CSR activities I am civil engineer so I should use my knowledge to make the college premise a green building something like that. “
