“Cooperation and empowerment of members to achieve common goals”

My leadership style includes delegation, collaboration and team work with full responsiveness and support. A leader must empower, engage and encourage his/her team to result in fruitful outcomes with full task force and energy. Being Chairman my role is to provide the vision and overall guidance to my team members in accomplishing the mission of the Institution.

How does the curriculum of your school ensure the best practice of industry?

“A string of practical industrial sessions with structured course-designing”

The Curriculum of FORE is a mix of contemporary and traditional content with case studies and practical applicability of the learning imbibed. The exposure of summer training at various companies allows a good integration of desk learning as well as practical applicability. We offer a number of interim activities like seminars, conferences, on campus guest lecture series, industrial visits and training to inculcate relevant skills and knowledge within students.

What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

“Defined curriculum and initiatives in imparting education to all”

We have a very open culture and professors are accessible to guide the students with the utmost concern. We offer varied course structures along with opportunities for practical experience and summer programmes and exchange programmes. Our Institute took forward steps for remote learning and collaborations with big companies who could sponsor education for economic groups who can get the same opportunity to study under scholarships. Language options can also be explored for certain subjects to be studied by different races.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in India?

“Better availability of higher education institutions and advance learning pedagogy”

Good and enough options for higher education at affordable prices are still a challenge in many small and even some big towns in India. Similarly, making remote learning inevitable, but fee structure same hence mismatch in meeting costs for both students and the institutes. Also, skills learnt are not taught in a way to apply to newer or similar fields in a well practical manner that may lead our students to lag in global competitions. Retaining staff despite the challenges and reduced student interactions are also a few challenges to look at.
