Rounak: OBC.

Describe the general setting of WAT/ GD (if any)?

Rounak: The entire process was conducted online on the ZOOM platform. WAT was conducted on a portal provided by IIT Delhi, where I had to write an essay. The time limit was 25 minutes to plan and write the essay.

In GD there were 2 panelists, and it was not at all aggressive but inquisitive and knowledgeable.

Tip: Read everything like journals, articles, books but not for leisure, but by analyzing looking at the detail and the bigger picture and try to summarize whatever you have read in your own words analytically.

Describe the general setting of your interview?

Rounak: There are 3-panel members, all from faculty. The mode of the interview was online. Not at all stress interview.

Tip: Be aware of your academic background, have excellent knowledge on recent trends in Telecom and the government initiatives taken in the telecom industry.

What was the reason for you not converting to other colleges? (if any)

Rounak: Did not apply elsewhere except IIT DMS and SCHMRD BM (through SNAP), however since IIT DMS is top-ranked, I chose that.
