How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school? 

“Keeping a student-centric approach is a pivotal aspect”

The best practice to market and keep administration uptight is by focusing on a student-centred learning management system. Add on courses, skill upgrading programs, socially relevant or live projects as part of the curriculum, partnership programs with professional bodies is the least approached, yet most efficient method to advertise the institution.

“Education is the single most incredible tool for achieving social justice and equality”

“The University should develop a system to enable the institutions to become involved amongst cross-functional and multidisciplinary institutions, with teaching programs across disciplines and fields. Also, specific skilling/reskilling of students should be part of the academic contents.” 

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general and for Thejus Engineering College specifically? 

“There is a dearth of quality faculty to help students elevate their standard of education”

Higher education must aim to develop good, thoughtful, well-rounded, and creative individuals all over the country. It must enable an individual to study one or more specialized areas of interest and also must prepare students for more meaningful and satisfying lives fostering economic independence. The challenges we face include a shortage of qualified faculty, poor infrastructure, limited resource allocation and lack of interest among industries to collaborate with institutions for research activities. Once these issues start to resolve, things will begin to get pretty efficient for Thejus Engineering College.

What are some plans that you are currently (or will be) designing for Thejus Engineering College international affairs and/or students? 

“We are aiming to bring in multidisciplinary approach in all of our verticals of education”

We are focusing on facilitating quality teaching along with improvised learning processes with inter and multidisciplinary programs with high thrust on research. The community must have interaction with the live projects and offer voluntary service to students and faculty in resolving societal challenges and needs.
