Dr. G T Raju is the Principal at Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekaranatha Swamiji Institute of Technology. He is an engineering graduate and did PhD from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He has 28 years of experience in Teaching, Training, Research, and Administration. Moreover, he is a member of the Statutory Committees at VTU and Autonomous Institutions. He was felicitated with the Rajiv Gandhi Gold Medal Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in 2015.

The primary part is to recognize our institution at the national level ranking. On the other hand, strengthening the infrastructure with technologies and increasing MOUs with companies is essential. It helps to enhance the job opportunities among our Students. Moreover, promoting the institution through Social Media enrichment programs is necessary. It aids in branding our institution at the national level.

Our curriculum is a mixture of theory, practicals, projects, internships, industry training, and teaching methods. Necessary training by experts makes the students' industry ready. How does your college welcome students of different economic backgrounds?

Our institute is unique from others in several sections. One of the specialties is Bhabha Atomic Research Center. Moreover, we started B.E in regional language Kannada in the Civil branch with 30 intake and BSc honors from the upcoming academic year.

It is essential to switch the students from the campus world to the digital world during the pandemic period. The last one is to strike a balance between academic, research, and consultancy work.

Students should take certification programs using a digital platform like MOOC, NPTEL, and UDEMY. However, they attend soft skill and personality development training programs to ensure a career. Students' development programs help to meet industry requirements. 

What are the plans currently designed for SJCIT students?

“Conducting talks by Foreign experts and encouraging students for further studies”

We plan to collaborate with foreign universities. Furthermore, encourage students abroad and conduct talks by Foreign experts. We assist MOU with International companies. 

What is the admissions rate in college compared to last year?

In each year, the admission rate is raised. Although, there is a vast rise in rate compared to last year. The admission enhances the course curriculum.

Technical Quiz competitions are held inside the campus to evaluate the general knowledge of students. National and International level conferences, Project exhibitions occur to raise the participation of candidates. NSS, NCC, Sports, and Cultural activities are conducted every year.
