Shantilal Shah Engineering College (SSEC), Gujarat is affiliated with the Gujarat Technical University (GTU) and the college follows the academic curriculum of the university. SSEC has a semester-based academic program and its academic session is divided into two semesters, Odd (August-December) and Even (January-June).

SSEC conducts its term-end semester examination of the courses in the month of December during the odd semester and during the even semester, the examination is conducted in the month of May-June. The college releases the examination timetable of the semester examination 50-60 days prior to the commencement of the examination.

The students get their examination results from the university’s website within 30 days after the completion of the examination. Candidates are required to enter their Roll no and Seat no. along with their respective course name to get their result.

Shantilal Shah Engineering College releases the timetable of the semester examination two months prior to the commencement of the examination. The timetable of each course is published separately on the website of the college. SSEC provides the timetable of theory and practical examination individually. The College provides the timetable of Odd term-end semester examination in the month of September and the timetable of the even term-end semester examination in the month of March. The College formulates the semester-wise academic calendar of each course separately. The academic calendar of SSEC is released on the website of the college at the beginning of each semester. The even semester academic calendar is published in the month of January while the Odd semester academic calendar is published in the month of August.
