Tell us about your experience in the education industry and what makes it the best industry to work in?

“It is an inspiring field to help students elevate their way of learning”

I have been serving this industry for over 30 years and find it very exciting and inspiring. Our Country has the largest demography globally, with a large percentage of the population being young. This profession gives immense satisfaction, as I feel I can serve society at the grassroots level. Students from different strata of the community come to our institute to learn, and I think that there is so much to learn back from them. No other industry can educate you as much as this and help you with your individual growth.

Being an important Dignitary of your institute, what is your philosophy of leadership?

“The leader should be able to extract out the best of his team members”

In my opinion, a leader should always build confidence and stand beside his team. Simultaneously, the leader should lead from the front and derive the best from his team even if individual members are unaware of their potential. In the beginning, the member may feel slightly agitated, but they will realize his efforts in the end. If a leader can successfully implement this, no one can stop the organization from reaching the zenith.

How would you describe your leadership style?

“I believe in a leadership style that has a mixture of firmness and flexibility”

I try to maintain an appropriate balance between the growth and the benefit of the organization. Though I had to face specific challenges that I partially overcame, I still have got to a lot. I feel the leader should be a constant learner. I also think that a specific discipline is required to run an organization, which is lacking today.

How does your curriculum ensure best practice of industry?

“Our students are provided with practical training and industry exposure”

Our curriculum has been designed, keeping in mind the MAKAUT’s Curriculum and concurrence with the industry experts. Also, in our new curriculum, many parts of the theoretical teaching have been replaced with self-learning in assignments and projects. We at Seacom feel that if the student knows the self-learning technique, he/she becomes ready to face any challenge. It gives us the utmost satisfaction that we have prepared them for their life.

“We believe in creating a suitable studying environment in the institute. It involves a lot of interaction and understanding between students, teachers, and management. We try to provide the best possible exposure to learn about various aspects of life.”

How do you look at the growth of students through placement opportunities available at your institute?

“We have lots of industry interactions and tie-ups”

We have tied up with various MNCs for providing internships to our students. Students are provided valuable exposure, which will help them in their placements. The spirit of entrepreneurship is instilled in our students to overcome all challenges they will face in the coming years. We want our students to be industry ready, progressive, and do something meaningful in their lives, rather than getting accustomed to living an ordinary passive lifestyle.
