What is your philosophy of leadership in Satyam Institute Of Engineering And Technology?

“Completed freedom for staff and students to do their assigned tasks”

I believe in a style of leadership where my faculty, staff and students are given complete freedom to do their assigned tasks. They are free to choose the way they want to opt for in completion of any specific task. I follow this type of leadership style and build trust. 

How do you strategize about key plans for the marketing and administration of campus?

“Focus on student placement and signing MOUs with various consultants”

We promote a well developed feed-back mechanism. It can improve at every stage. We signed MOUs with various consultants and marketing agencies to promote our goodwill. Our campus focus on regular placement of students to spreads positive words of mouth. Students give true feedback and we can make further changes to the syllabus. 

How does the curriculum in the Institute ensure the best practice of Industry?

“Update syllabus as per industry, provide workshops, internships and seminars for pupils”

We design the syllabus for students as per the job specific. Our campus updates syllabus in all the areas which are applicable in industry. Some of the practice available to pupils includes, internship programs, workshops, and seminars for pupils to get practical knowledge. Our teachers are highly qualified. Labs are well equipped with the latest technology for all. 

How does your college welcome students of different economic backgrounds?

“Hostel facilities, scholarships and awards are provided to students”

We welcome students of every caste or region without any difference. They get hostel facilities on campus. Students from different parts of the country are invited to college. Our students are from Bihar, Jammu kashmir and many parts of punjab. We provide scholarships as per government norms for economic backgrounds.

What do you think is the top priority of Satyam Institute Of Engineering And Technology over the next 10 years?

“To improve students' learning experience and modify classrooms or labs in upcoming years”

Our top priority is to attain the status of best institute in Punjab. We are working for the same. Our campus tries to enhance the student's learning experience. We decide to modify classrooms , labs and ready tie ups to ensure 100% placement in the coming years.

What are your roles and responsibilities to campus and students?

“Developing new programs and supervising everything are my major responsibilities”

My role is to supervise the work of all subordinates. We ensure the safety of staff and students. One of my responsibilities is to Inculcate good habits and lifestyle along with education. We decide to develop new academic programs and make modifications to the existing programs for betterment.

What are the challenges you see for higher education in general?

“Low performance of students in industries and course quality are greatest challenges in higher education”

One of the biggest challenges is to provide quality higher education. Students receiving theoretical knowledge are unable to perform well in Industries. Most of the colleges are not providing practical knowledge. Another Challenge in punjab is Brain drain, most of the students are moving abroad irrespective of the course quality in institutes. 

What do you like people to know about your college they may not know?

“Care about students' careers and put 100% effort into their success”

We are an Institute of good reputation in our college. Our campus is very old and many branches in different parts of punjab· We actually care about the careers of pupils. Every faculty is concerned and puts 100% efforts to make students achieve great outcomes.
