Being a Faculty of the CSE Department, what are your responsibilities towards the students?

"Offering them good education and resolving their queries on time is my main responsibility"

Being an Associate Professor of the CSE department my role is not limited to teaching only, but addressing students academic and non-academic issues, counseling and motivating our students regularly to do their best is also my responsibility.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"By simply being a good communicator and listener for them"

For the purpose of ensuring a good relationship with my students and colleagues, I interact with them frequently, share my knowledge and experience with them. Apart from this, we all are involved in some or the other kind of co-curricular activities, hence we get to know each other's skills, expertise and opinions from there as well.

How does your department prepare students for higher education and placement?

"We work hard to strengthen students technical skills as per today's market demand"

As we all can observe that technology in today's time is changing rapidly and hence many software companies are offering jobs based on the skills of students and not on the department they belong to. Therefore, our college strives to make students corporate ready by inculcating essential software development skills in them irrespective of departments. And as far as higher education is concerned, we provide our full support and guidance to such students who want to pursue Post Graduation, by offering them coaching for exams like TOEFL, GATE and IELTS.

How do you prepare your students to cope up with the competitive world?

"By motivating them to strengthen their skills and keep themselves updated with industry trends"

I keep encouraging my students to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies of the corporate world and also to upgrade their skills as per today's need. In addition to this, I motivate them to give competitive exams conducted by other colleges or institutions so that they can get a clear picture of what skills are actually needed to sustain in today's time.

What do you see as your department’s greatest strengths?

"Our teachers are our main pillars of strength"

The greatest strengths of our department are definitely our highly educated and experienced faculty members who have expertise in their respective areas. And their experiences help them to train students well which in turn leads to better academic results of students and enhance the value of our institute.

Any valuable advice which you would like to give to the students to have a prosperous career ahead?

"Acquire some hands on experience along with theoretical knowledge to prepare yourself for outside world"

I would suggest to my students and youths of our society to gain more practical experience than theoretical knowledge, because only having theoretical knowledge will lead you to nowhere and you need to have some actual hands-on experience in order to work in an outside competitive world.
