What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Standing alongside the team & supporting them in their endeavors”

Leadership for me is about getting the people together, orienting them as a team, creating a vision for what we're doing, and help to establish the roadmap for success. And it is possible only by possessing core values like self-discipline, pro-activeness, sincerity, integrity, and passion.

In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“A healthy mixture of academics, extracurricular activities & practical-knowledge based education”

SNJB has taken part in various International conferences, National and International MOUs, Centre of Excellence, Foreign Language clubs, etc. We are also adopting a credit system in academics; there is an emergence of using blended learning, flip classroom schemes, and allowing for more and more practical/laboratory hours besides the theory lectures. We also give a platform to students for their Post graduation in various reputed foreign universities.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practice of the industry?

“Constant mentorship and guidance by industry experts via personal interactions”

At SNJB, through Industry Institute Interaction Cell, we always try to keep abreast with the current industry trends and innovative practices. We do this by taking insights from our widely spread industrial connect established for years through campus placements, internships, industry visits, guest lecture series, collaborative research initiatives, and so on. Our corporate partners not only share current industrial practices and trends but also help our faculties and students by extending training and mentoring facilities under CSR initiatives and MoUs signed with them. Few of the Directors of our institute run their Industries and their continuous guidance helps us to make industry-ready engineers.

We are looking for students, who can utilize our high standard of teaching-learning process offered by qualified teachers using state-of-the-art laboratories, audiovisual aids, and Internet/Intranet facilities. Our objective is to create a breed of qualified, innovative, and dynamic professionals for corporate sectors, the service industry, self-employment, and academic and research institutions of socio-economic importance.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“Healthy, interactive teacher-student relationships draw students into the process of learning more”

Through our mentor activities, we try to have a strong personal connection with teachers, and students and receive more constructive guidance and praise rather than just criticism. Just as we focus on imparting knowledge, our academic system also focuses on the application of this knowledge to solve local/societal problems effectively.

In complement to each program that we offer, various practical platforms have been set up across the SNJB, as a way of providing a hand on and engaging learning experience.
