A great journey in the education industry

My father Shri Govindrao Wanjari started the institution in 1978 with only one college. Later on, with the changing trends, other branches like Science, Commerce, and Arts were also introduced. I am associated with the institution for the past 22 years and expanded my father’s noble task by marking a step into Engineering and Polytechnic College. Today, this has become a brand with branches such as MBA, MCA, Law, Pharmacy, Education comprising more than 10,000 students.

Challenges faced being the Secretary of Wanjari Institutions

Many challenges have come to our doorstep during the establishment of the institutes. One among them was - how to improve the quality of education provided to the students? With the changing times, it is essential to upgrade our curriculum and infrastructural facilities accordingly. As the Secretary, I need to enhance the quality of work because, without it, there will be no development. It is the quality that matters the most and what differentiates us from the competitors!

Plans to take the Group to greater heights

My father has put in a lot of hard work to develop these institutes. Later on, I expanded these institutes catering to different courses and vocational courses that consist of Business and Industry oriented courses. With this, there is always a scope of serving the masses by the medium of educational institutions like in Metropolitan cities. So, we are trying to provide the same level of education in the Nagpur region as well.

The industry-oriented curriculum at Wanjari Groups

All the institutes in Maharashtra adhere to their respective universities as the Provisional Act 2016 asks to abide it with the provision. Thus, the curriculum has to be designed by the board of studies of Nagpur University. Every program is assigned an academician, which plans and designs the knowledge that has to be imparted to the students. From our end, we assure you that the courses are in coordination with what industry demands. The implementation part is handled by the institutes.

Wanjari Institutions builds a positive attitude and culture among students

The Institute has students coming from various parts of the country with different backgrounds. It automatically creates a cosmopolitan culture among the students, which enables positive energy. The institute maintains harmony between students despite their religion, castes, creed or gender.

Placement opportunities at Wanjari Group of Institutions

It is a big challenge for all the colleges and institutions to seek welfare through the placement of the students. We organize various alumni meets and invite industry recruiters that help in building connections with the students and faculty. Apart from this, our placement cell devotes itself to hold various skills development programs, industry tours and more to give proper knowledge and exposure to the students. This helps each individual to face real-world challenges in an effective way.

Building a healthy relationship with the students and faculty

I am always available for the students and staff members of the college. I do not believe in the philosophy of a prior appointment before meeting anyone. Every student can come directly to my cabin and share their views or discuss their problems at any time of the day.

A dynamic approach towards the development of faculty and students

The institutions have various programs to groom both faculty and students. Apart from academic activities, the institutes also organize extra-curricular activities for faculty members. To acquaint them with recent trends, we also conduct seminars, crash courses, and refreshment courses.

With this, we get a chance to update their knowledge as well as skill sets. Simultaneously, we also run a myriad of activities for the growth of the students as well as cultural and sports activities for their personality development.

Suggestions to young aspirants

The pattern of education in India has its roots engulfed from major metropolitan cities to most isolated villages. It is in the hands of the youth to grasp the opportunities that fall into their platter. Education was, is and always will be the key to become successful in life. However, command over the language and soft skills are the main armor for the long race.
