Being an Assistant Professor of Dhaanish College, what are your responsibilities towards students?

"Educating students and addressing their queries is my prime responsibility"

Being the faculty, my main responsibility is to inculcate best technical skills and ethical values in my students and prepare them for the outside corporate world and society. Apart from this, addressing students' queries and guiding them in case of confusion also comes under the scope of my responsibilities. 

How do you prepare your students to deal with the outside competitive world?

"By offering them necessary guidance and support"

We regularly encourage our students to believe in themselves and their skills and also not to compare their individuality and uniqueness with anyone. Apart from this, guidance is provided to students for competitive entrance exams like UPSC, TNPSC and Bank tests on a regular basis and this is how we prepare them to face the outside world with more confidence and courage.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students in your college?

"By being a regular communicator and listener for students"

I truly appreciate the fact that cordial cooperation is very essential to ensure everything works smoothly between students and teachers and good academic performance of students. Therefore, I interact with them on a regular basis and carefully listen to their queries and issues so that I can provide a proper resolution for them and on time.

Which best practices are offered by your department to students to help them gain necessary skills?

"We organize learning sessions for students in collaboration with industry experts"

We have collaborated with top MNCs and organizations to bring best learning opportunities in college for the benefit of our students. Also, we organize live interaction sessions with the support of our industry partners who come and educate our students about how people and processes work together in an organization and what skills students need to develop to enter into the corporate sector. Along with all this, hands-on training and experiments are conducted too by us as and when required.

How does your department prepare students for placement and Higher education?

"We offer students customized training programs for both the things"

Our college has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell to train our students for the actual Interview process and higher education. Also, many of our students are working in top companies while others are pursuing higher education in their areas of interest. Apart from this, we offer different kinds of customized training programs and also guide them about the available career options and higher education scope.

Which extracurricular activities are organized by your college to enhance the skills of students?

"Social welfare activities, sports events and paper shows like activities are organized by us"

A wide variety of co-curricular activities are organized by our college including sports events to keep students physically and mentally strong, paper shows, meetings and social activities to inculcate best social skills in them. We also encourage them to participate in events and activities like seminars, conferences and workshops organized by other colleges and universities.

I would like to advise my existing and upcoming students to give their equal focus on both theoretical and practical learning. Also, keep upgrading your skills and stay updated with the latest happenings in the technology sector. As students once passed out from our college should be completely ready to face the corporate challenges and provide a best suitable solution for the real world issues.

How does your college enhance the faculty skills and prepare them as per industry standards?

"They are upskilled through college organized events and training programs"

Our college is very supportive and offers us every kind of possible support so that we can upgrade ourselves in the demanding technologies. Also, training programs and guest sessions are arranged by our college to upskill its faculty members, although all of them are highly educated and experienced, but yes they need to also upgrade them as per changing time. Lastly, our college offers us full autonomy to experiment with their ideas.
