What keeps you connected with the education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?

"Happiness I receive after educating young minds keeps me connected to the education sector"

I have been in the education sector for the past 16 years. And it makes me really grateful when I teach my students and share my knowledge with them to make them capable of securing a good job in reputed organizations and to give them a better perspective to understand things. 

Being the HOD of MBA at Astral Institute, what are your responsibilities towards the students?

"To supervise and monitor that academic and extracurricular activities are organized properly"

Being the Head of the MBA Department, I need to monitor that the extracurricular activities are conducted on a regular basis to upgrade our students' skills. And I also need to take care and supervise academic activities, provide best placement and internships. Lastly, balancing the industrial linkage of course and helping students in building professional careers is another responsibility of mine.

Which extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of students? 

"Events like seminars, workshops and guest sessions are arranged by us time to time"

We have different kinds of co-curricular activities such as guest lectures, events, workshops, seminars and competitions to groom our students in various aspects.

How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects? 

"By engaging students in real time projects and apprenticeships"

We have included Major Research Projects in our curriculum under which our students visit various companies to learn new technologies and then they need to prepare and submit a report based on that. We also offer internship opportunities to all students.

What do you see as the greatest strengths of your Astral Institute?

"Our infrastructure, education quality and fee structure are our pillars of strength"

Our institute provides education to students at minimum fee structure without compromising the quality of education. We have smart classes, well equipped labs, live classes, online classes as well as notes for students who miss any classes along with a very good infrastructure and sports facilities.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general? 

"Diverting students attention from online to offline classes is a hurdle for us"

The biggest challenge that we are facing as of now is the changing behaviour of our students. They have taken so many online classes during lockdown, that they now want to study through online mode and don't wanna take offline classes.
