BITSoM Achieves 100% Summer Placements

BITSoM, the new-age business school, Mumbai has announced that its founding class has achieved 100% summer placement, with students being picked by many leading corporations in India.

Many top-notch companies visited BITSoM, Mumbai during summer placement. Some of the prominent recruiters who made offers to the students were Bain & Co, Kearney, Arthur D Little, Korn Ferry (Hay Group), Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer, Beiersdorf (Nivea), Deloitte, PwC, E, Pidilite, Hershey, Aditya Birla Group, and Cisco.

Other recruiters who offered internships to the BITSoM students were Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential AMC, and Axis Bank, Cervin Ventures (a Silicon Valley-based VC fund) among others.

Overall, a total of 50 organizations made offers in the summer internship process. The students who received the offers must join their respective organizations for internships between April and May 2022.

With a full batch of students being placed during summer placements, the average stipend amount received was ₹1,61,610 for the two-month internship.

The top 10% of the accepted offers have an average two-month stipend of a total of ₹3,01,538, and the top 30 per cent have an average two-month stipend of ₹2,61,712 and the top half of the class has an average two-month stipend of ₹ 2,29,280.

Speaking about the achievements of summer placements, Dr Ranjan Banerjee, Dean, BITSoM said that it's a strong start for the institute in its first-year, wherein many prominent companies visited the institute and provided positive feedback on the quality and energy of BITSOM founding class.

Further, he thanked all the corporate partners for their enthusiastic support and said that more recruiters are in talks with the institute who have committed to participate both in final placements and in next year’s internships. Thus, the institute is confident of an even stronger result for the next academic year.
