BIT Patna MBA & M.Tech Admission 2022 Open; Check Important Dates

New Delhi: BIT Patna has begun the application process for MBA and M.Tech programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @bitmesra.ac.in. 

BIT Patna offers two-year MBA programme, whereas M.Tech programme is offered in two specialisations namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (Wireless Communication). 

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme can submit their applications till July 3, while the applications for M.Tech programme can be submitted till June 30, 2022.

BIT Patna MBA & M.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the MBA and MTech courses offered by the institute will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must have appeared in one of the competitive examinations like CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT and have a valid score / Percentile. 
• Candidates should proceed to fill the Online Application Form only after they satisfy themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the universities with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Honours / aggregate marks. 
• Candidates must have completed higher secondary schooling [Class 12
• or equivalent] (10+2+3 system).
• Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s programme in 2022 can also apply. 

Eligibility Criteria for MTech: 

• Candidates should preferably be GATE 2020 / GATE 2021 / GATE 2022 qualified. Non-GATE candidates may also apply. However, their applications will be considered only after applicants who have qualified in GATE and have been considered for admission.
• Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s program in 2022 can also apply
• Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech. Or MCA or M.Sc. in relevant streams from recognised universities. 

BIT Patna MBA & M.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process

Selection Process for MBA:

• Provisional selection will be based on performance of the applicants in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• Based on various reservation criteria of State and Central Govt. However, candidates must meet the minimum academic requirements. 
• Selection lists, along with procedures for admissions, will be notified only after the GD&PI process at Patna Campus is over, on the Institute website only.

Selection Process for M.Tech:

• Provisional selections to the M.Tech. programs for GATE qualified candidates will be based on the scores obtained in GATE 2020 / GATE 2021 / GATE 2022 and Academic performance, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned. 
• Provisional selections of Non-GATE candidates will be based on written test and Academic performance, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria. 
• However, their admission will be considered only after applicants who have qualified in GATE 2020 /
• GATE 2021 / GATE 2022 have been considered and admitted, subject to the availability of seats.

BIT Patna MBA & M.Tech Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of BIT Patna @bitmesra.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1500 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
