New Delhi: The Institute of Science of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has scheduled to conduct Open Book Exams (OBE) for Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Semester-1 students from April 18, 2022.

BHU will conduct the Open Book Exam for major subjects like Microbial Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. Students who are preparing to appear for these exams can check the complete schedule on the university's official website.
As per the exam schedule for BHU Courses, the last Open Book Exam will be held on April 29, 2022, for Structure and Bonding in Section A, Organic Chemistry-1 in Section B, and Statical Methods and Probability. All the exams will be held from 11 AM to 3:30 PM.
The notice for the Open Book Exam was officially announced on the official twitter handle of the Dean, Faculty of Science, BHU. The tweet reads as follows:

Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to confirm their OBE exam dates in the prospective papers. In case of any errors or discrepancies in the exam schedule, candidates are directed to contact the controller of the examination immediately.

Earlier, Banaras Hindu University had issued a notice on February 25, 2022, informing students that semester-end examinations for all will be held online as well as in offline mode. Candidates will have the option to choose the mode of examination before the exam commencement.
For students in the second year of all courses, the offline classes will be conducted on the campus ground. Students are directed to follow all safety protocols and guidelines released by the university during class commencement.
