BBDU PhD Admission 2022 Open; The Last Date to Apply is July 12

New Delhi: BBDU is currently accepting applications for its PhD programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, bbdu.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 12, 2022.

BBDU offers its PhD program in both part-time and full-time mode. The various specializations of PhD include Management, Computer Applications, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Dental Sciences, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Law, Education, and English.

A master's degree in the relevant field is mandatory to get enrolled in the PhD program of BBDU. Candidates are required to appear in the written examination which is followed by an interview round. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET are exempted from the written test for admission at BBDU.

The written exam will include multiple-choice questions. The first half of the questions should focus on research methods, including general research ability, computer skills, and so on, while the second half will be on the subject. The examination will be for a duration of 60 minutes. The results will be made available on the university website and individual applicants will not be informed.

BBDU PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Master's degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 
• For PhD in engineering subjects, Management, Computer Applications, Pharmaceutical Science, and Architecture candidates should have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 60% or an equivalent grade.
• Candidates with an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution may be considered provided it has accreditation by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions. 
• Relaxation in eligibility conditions shall be as per Government/UGC rules.

BBDU PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process

• All the applicants will be required to appear in the Doctoral Program Admission Test followed by an interview.
• All the candidates appearing in the written test are also required to appear for an interview. The candidate shall be required to express his/her research interest during the interview. Any candidate who fails to appear in the interview shall not be considered for final selection.
• The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET are exempted from the written test. All such candidates are required to appear in interviews only.

BBDU PhD Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Step 1: Visit the official website of BBDU, at bbdu.ac.in.
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details such as Name, Email Id, Contact Number etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.

For offline applications, the Application Forms are available from the Accounts Office, BBDU between 10.00 am – 5.00 pm. The duly filled-up admission form along with the required documents can be submitted in the office of the Deputy Registrar, BBDU, Lucknow.
