BAOU Admission (August) 2022 Open for UG & PG Courses; Last Date to Apply is August 31

New Delhi: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) has begun the application process for UG, PG courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.baou.edu.in till August 31, 2022.

BAOU offers UG and PG courses in various specialisations including Computer Science, Commerce and Management. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till August 31, 2022.

Admission to BAOU courses is based on the overall aggregate of the last qualifying level. The university prepares a merit list using the candidate's aggregate. However, candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed program will have to appear for an entrance test.

BAOU offers UG courses such as BA, B.Com and B.P.P (Bachelor’s Preparatory Program) and PG courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, M.L.I.Sc and MSW, among others. Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG courses will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses 

• Candidates should have passed their senior secondary school or any other examination holding equivalent value or should have qualified the B.P.P. examination. 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed 

• Candidates must hold either an undergraduate degree or any other higher degree from a reputed institute.
• Candidates should have a teaching experience of a minimum of 2 years on either temporary or permanent basis.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses 

• Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree or any other professional degree from a reputed institute.

BAOU UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process 

• Candidate's selection to the UG courses are subject to the merit obtained in the last qualifying examination (class 12/HSC).
• Candidate's selection to all the PG courses are subject to merit scores obtained by the students in their UG degree. 

BAOU UG & PG Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of BAOU @www.baou.edu.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc. 

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 400 online and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
