Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education has announced the counselling process for AP ECET 2020. The counselling shall begin from November 4, 2020.
Eligible candidates are required to pay the application fee and register themselves for the AP ECET 2020 Exam 2020. The entrance test is conducted for sorting through engineering and pharmacy applicants across the state.
The committee will then allot the seats to the selected candidates to affiliated colleges on the basis of their merit.
AP ECET 2020 Counselling Program: How to Apply?
To apply for the counselling process, candidates can follow the below steps:
Step 1- Visit the official www.sche.ap.gov.in/ecet.
Step 2- Scroll to the announcement on the homepage and find pay processing tab
Step 3- Enter the relevant hall ticket and rank and submit in the portal
Step 4- Pay the application fees via online mode
Step 5- On verification of payment, download the document and save it for future use
AP ECET 2020 Counselling Program: Eligibility Criteria
As per the notice issued by APSCHE, the below candidates can apply for the entrance exam:
- Candidates who have secured a rank in AP ECET 2020 Exam are eligible to apply for the counselling program.
- Candidates need to obtain a diploma or equivalent degree or BSC in Maths
- Candidates must secure minimum 45% aggregate marks in their degree.
- For reserved categories, the committee can accept 40% aggregate marks for application.

On verification of payment, the candidates will be sent their login IDs for verifying the documents.
The application fee for AP ECET 2020 Counselling is mentioned according to the categories:

After the document verification candidates will be allowed to take part in the registration and choice locking process.
In case of a tie among two or more candidates (in regards to merit list) following methodology will be followed.
- One with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher.
- In case a tie still persists then Marks of Physics and Chemistry will be compared.
- In case the tie is not resolved then who is older will be placed higher.
- To settle the case if the tie persists even after considering above 3 parameters candidates will be awarded equal ranking.
