Anna University Distance PG Admission 2022 Open, Check Important Dates

New Delhi: Anna University CDE has begun the application process for admission to its MCA, MBA, MBA (Business Analytics) and MSc courses 2022-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @annauniv.edu. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme can submit their applications till March 28, 2022.

Anna University CDE offers MBA programmes in various specializations that include General Management, Technology Management, Marketing Management, HRM, Financial Service Management, Health Services Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Operations Management. 

Anna University Distance Admission 2022: Highlights 

Candidates interested in pursuing MCA and MSc (CS) Programmes offered at the centre for distance education, (CDE), Anna University, can submit their online applications till March 25, 2022.

However, candidates aspiring to pursue MCA will have to sit for an online entrance exam scheduled to be held on March 27, to be eligible for the final admission process. 

The university will not conduct the entrance test for MBA as per the circular dated September 29, 2021. Admissions will be done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

Anna University Distance Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• MBA: Aspiring candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from any recognized university.
• MBA (Business Analytics): Candidates must have qualified a 3-year or 4-year bachelor’s exam after passing 10+2 or equivalent under Indian board or foreign board or 8 + 4 / 9 + 3 under foreign board.
• MCA: Aspiring candidates must have passed BCA or a bachelor’s degree in CSE or equivalent degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam. 
• Candidates must hold a valid score in any of the acceptable entrance exams such as DEET/TANCET 2021 conducted by Anna University.
• MSc: Aspiring candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years with mathematics as one of the subjects at HS level or at graduation level. 

Anna University Distance Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidates who are provisionally eligible for admission will be informed through a counseling call letter based on their rank obtained in the DEET/TANCET.

• Candidates or their authorized representative should attend the counseling with all original certificates. Their selection will be based on the marks in the Entrance Test (DEET) / TANCET 2021.

• Based on the rank Study Centre/ Specialization will be provisionally allotted through counseling as per the choice of the candidates subject to availability of seats.

Anna University Distance Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of CDE Anna University
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 767 (including GST) and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs. 

The downloaded applications along with relevant certificates should be submitted to the below address on or before the deadline through post or in person.
