Allahabad University CRET 2022: Registration Process Begins; Last Date to Apply is May 16

New Delhi: Allahabad University has begun the registration process for CRET 2022 for admission to PhD courses. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, allduniv.ac.in

Allahabad University offers admission in various PhD courses through the Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET). Candidates seeking admission to these programmes can submit their applications for CRET 2022 till May 16, 2022. 

Candidates interested in Allahabad University Admission 2022, can apply to the 41 PhD subjects and for the available 614 seats under these subjects. Out of 614 seats, 227 seats are for the university itself and 387 seats are for affiliated colleges including:

• CMP Degree College
• Allahabad Degree College (ADC)
• Ishwar Sharan Degree College
• Jagat Taran Girls Degree College
• Sadanlal Savaldas Khanna Girls’ Degree College
• Arya Kanya Degree College
• Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Degree College
• Ewing Christian College, Allahabad (ECC)

Allahabad University CRET 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates may take note of the eligibility criteria of CRET which isto be conducted offline at Allahabad University campus at Prayagraj for Ph.D Courses.

• Aspiring candidates must have passed the Postgraduate exam with a minimum score of 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ PH) candidates from any recognised university

• Candidates must maintain an average score of 54% in the entire academic career (49% for the SC/ ST/ PH candidates)

Allahabad University CRET 2022: Selection Process

Candidates must take note of the steps of CRET 2022 exam before applying:

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the first level of CRET. This level includes two sections. There will be 50 questions in each section. This will evaluate the subject proficiency of the candidates

• Secondly, the candidates need to write the subjective level 2, consisting of three sections- short, medium and long answer types. Total allotted time is 3 hours and total marks are 200

• Those who qualified the former 2 rounders, need to appear for an Interview round, consisting of presentations, GD

• Candidates need to score minimum 40% in each of the sections of level 1 and 2 to be qualified for level 3 round

Candidates are required to follow the given below steps to apply for the CRET 2022 exam:

Step 1- Visit the official application portal of Allahabad University

Step 2- Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3- Look for the Username and Password sent through provided mobile number

Step 4- Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form

Step 5- Upload the photograph and signature 

Step 6- Pay the application fee and submit the Application form

Step 7- Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs
