New Delhi: AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand has invited applications for admission in Post- Doctoral Certificate (PDC) & Fellowship Courses for January 2022 session.

Interested candidates can apply for the post-doctoral certificate and fellowship course at AIIMS Rishikesh. They need to fill the application form and send it through speed-post by 1 PM on January 22, 2022.

AIIMS Rishikesh PDC & Fellowship Course 2022: Specialization Offered 

The one-year post-doctoral certificate (PDC) course will be offered in the following departments/specialities, 

• Endocrinology: Paediatric Endocrinology 
• Emergency Medicine: Emergency Medicine 
• General Medicine: Geriatric Medicine, Lifestyle disease Management 
• IBCC: Breast Imaging 
• Medical Oncology Haematology: Haemato-Oncology 
• Microbiology: Infectious Diseases 
• Radiodiagnosis & Imaging: Gastro Radiology, Vascular Radiology 
• Transfusion Medicine: Apheresis Technology & Blood Component Therapy 
• Urology: Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstruction 

Note: The one-year fellowship course will be in the department of General Medicine: Diabetology.

For AIIMS Rishikesh Admission 2022 in PDC and fellowship courses, candidates must possess MD/M.Ch/DNB in specified specialties depending on the department. For more details on the eligibility criteria, candidates can go through the prospectus. 

AIIMS Rishikesh PDC & Fellowship Course 2022: Entrance Exam Highlights 

AIIMS Rishikesh PDC & Fellowship Course 2022: Selection Process 

Candidates will be selected for the AIIMS Rishikesh's PDC and fellowship courses based on their performance in the written examination & interview conducted by the institute. 

Stage I: Written test carrying 80 marks of 180 minutes duration in the subject, candidate has applied for. 

There will be a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions in the question paper and the qualifying criteria for MCQ based exam shall be based on percentile/percentage scores of candidates depending on the number of candidates.

In case, the number of candidates is more than 10 times the number of seats, percentile score shall be considered else percentage score of candidates shall be considered.

Stage II: Out of candidates who have secured 50 percentile/percentage or more marks in written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times number of seats advertised will be called (on discretion of competent authority/selection panel) for departmental 

clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks).

Final Selection: Final result will be declared based on total marks obtained in stage-I and stage-II Examination.

AIIMS Rishikesh's PDC & Fellowship Course 2022: Application Process 

Candidates interested in applying for the PDC and fellowship courses 2022 can apply through the offline application form available on the AIIMS Rishikesh website. 

They should enter the requisite details and upload the necessary documents and send the duly-filled application form to the following address through registered post/ speed post only. 

The institute will not consider the application form sent through courier or if the application is sent after the deadline. The envelope consisting of the application form should be super-scribed as “Application For The PDCC & Fellowship, January, 2022 Session.” 

AIIMS Rishikesh's PDC & Fellowship Course 2022: Application Fee 

Candidates from general category must pay INR 1500 as application fee, whereas the SC/ST/EWS candidates must pay INR 1200. However, there's no no application fee for PWD candidates. Application fee can be paid online by following the procedure mentioned in the prospectus.
