AIIMS Raipur to Begin MBBS Course for Session 2022 from November 21


New Delhi: As per the latest notification released, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur is preparing to start the MBBS coursework for the academic session 2022 for newly enrolled students from November 21, 2022.

Referring to the course schedule, the AIIMS Raipur official notice stated that the new session for MBBS course students will begin from Monday, November 21, 2022, and all department and concerned faculty members are required to make appropriate plans for their teaching schedules.

The notice reads, "Due to MCC delaying the second round of counselling from November 11 to November 15, 2022. As a result, it has also been determined that the academic year for the MBBS 2022 Batch (1st Professional) of students enrolled on AIIMS Raipur would begin on Monday, November 21, 2022".

AIIMS Raipur Organised National Conference on Pediatric Emergency

Earlier, the AIIMS Raipur organised the first National Conference on Pediatric Emergency on the campus ground. The conference was held to discuss various technical breakthroughs, trauma and toxicity, psychiatry, education, and research in Pediatric Emergencies with experts. 

Officially informing about the event, Aiims Raipur tweeted, "The first National Conference of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics on Pediatric Emergency Medicine was organised by AIIMS Raipur to examine technical breakthroughs, trauma and toxicity, psychiatry, education, and research in Pediatric Emergency."

"Experts complimented the government's efforts to reduce PE mortality and recommended prompt response and ongoing training to improve outcomes. The Conference has reaffirmed its goal of achieving zero deaths from acute renal damage in paediatrics by 2025 "AIIMS Raipur added.

In other news, Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has removed a total of 22 MBBS seats from the NEET UG Counseling 2022. These seats belonged to the Durg, Chhattisgarh, Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Government Medical College.

The decision was made following the National Medical Commission's decision to no longer recognise the college. The following Institute has been withdrawn from the Undergraduate Counseling 2022 since the college's recognition has been revoked by NMC, according to the MCC announcement.

Since the college would no longer be taking part in the All India UG Counseling 2022 being run by MCC of DGHS, they have asked to have their seats removed from the seat matrix, the officials informed.
