AIIMS PG 2021: Departmental Assessment Date (Out), Result for July, Application, Eligibility, Selection Process, Counselling


All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has officially released the dates for the Departmental Assessment for DM/M. Ch./MD (HA) Courses for July 2021 Session on its website.

Along with this, the AIIMS, Delhi has also notified the PG 2021 Result of stage-1 online (CBT) Entrance Examination for DM / MCh (3 years) and MD Hospital Administration Courses for July 2021 session. The 3-year DM/ MCh and MD Hospital Administration Courses for July 2021 were successfully conducted on April 17, 2021. Candidates who took up the exam can verify their details online at the official AIIMS website @aiimsexams.org.

On May 9, 2021, the AIIMS Delhi, conducted the AIIMS PG 2021 MD / MS / M.Ch (6 years) / DM / (6 years) examination for the July session in an online proctored mode. There are around 8 participating institutions that provide admission based on the AIIMS PG 2021 score. AIIMS PG 2021 MD / MS / M.Ch (6 years) / DM / (6 years) Jul 2021 Session: Important Dates 

There's only a single test conducted for the AIIMS PG 2021 courses including MD / MS / M.Ch (6 years) / DM / (6 years). However, for the 3-year DM / MCH and MD (Hospital Administration) courses, the test consists of two stages. Go through the table to know the important dates of AIIMS PG 2021.

AIIMS PG 2021: Result

The results for the AIIMS PG 2021 have been released by the institute in PDF format as the merit list form which is based on the percentile scores. Candidates who had appeared for the AIIMS PG 2021 exams can visit the website and log in with their registered ID, password, and RUC to check their respective rank card of the AIIMS PG 2021 results.

AIIMS PG 2021: Application Form

Candidates interested in the PG courses offered at AIIMS, Delhi can fill the online application form of the AIIMS PG 2021 from its official AIIMS website at aiimsexams.org. Follow the steps below to fill the details on the application form. 

  • Go to the official AIIMS Delhi website @aiimsexams.org 
  • Fill in all the required details asked in the application form 
  • Now, log in using your registration id and password sent to you at the registered mail ID or mobile number. 
  • Then, fill in all the qualification details along with medical exam details, work experience details 
  • Thereafter, select the exam city and pay the desired fee. 
  • Finally, upload the images and take the printout of the registration slip.

AIIMS PG 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to go through the eligibility requirements before filling their application form for AIIMS PG 2021. If any applicant is found to be ineligible at any stage, then candidature is canceled. 

Educational Qualifications 

  • Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from a recognized university. 
  • Aggregate marks must have been secured such as, 
    • SC/ST Categories – 60%
    • OBC/EWS Category – 55%
  • Graduated from foreign universities: : 
    • UR/OBC/EWS : 55% 
    • SC/ST: 50% in FMGE exam.
  • They should have completed the rotational internship on or before July 31, 2021.

For DM / M.CH ( 3 Yrs) / MD (HA) course 

Age Limit

  • Must be 35 years of age or above as of July 01, 2021.
  • The age limit is relaxable for OBC Candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC / ST candidates and Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned Officer and PWD

Candidates must have obtained an MD/MS or DNB from a University recognized by the MCI as per their respective discipline. They must that if they don't satisfy the eligibility requirements or fail to complete the requisite qualification degree and tenure by July 31, 2021, and those who are expecting to complete their 3 years requisite qualification, degree and tenure after July 31, 2021 shall not be eligible to appear for the examination.

AIIMS PG 2021: Syllabus

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, has not specified or defined the exact syllabus for the AIIMS PG 2021. However, candidates need to be prepared for their previous qualifications. Check the syllabus below.

For MD / MS: Must prepare from their MBBS syllabus.

For MDS: Must prepare from their BDS syllabus.

AIIMS PG 2021: Admit Card

The exam authority is responsible for releasing the AIIMS PG 2021 admit card on the official website. Candidates must log in with their registered id and password to download the same. Also, admit cards will be only released for candidates who fill the AIIMS PG 2021 application form correctly.

The AIIMS PG 2021 Admit Card consists of various important details like name of the candidate, roll number, name, and address of the venue, etc. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the AIIMS PG 2021 test center without the following documents.

AIIMS PG 2021: Test Centres

AIIMS Delhi has allocated a few test centers across the country for the AIIMS PG examination. Candidates must make a note that they cannot request a change of test center after the admit card for AIIMS PG 2021 is released.

AIIMS PG 2021: Selection

The exam conducting authority has levied different method selection for AIIMS PG 2021. Check them below.

The AIIMS PG 2021 exam is conducted online through the CBT mode for which the results are released in the form of merit list. Once the counseling process and document verification process are conducted, candidates will have to appear for the medical examination. After which they've to pay the fee amount.  The AIIMS PG 2021 exam is conducted in 2 stages, A written test followed by a departmental assessment. Candidates are required to qualify with 50% in order to be eligible to appear for the stage 2. Thereafter, they're required to secure 50% combined in aggregate in both stage 1 and stage 2 in order to be eligible for admission.
Tie-breaking  Candidates securing higher aggregate marks in all the MBBS / BDS Professional Examinations are ranked higher and if not, the older candidate is given preference.  In case 2 or more candidates secure same marks, the older candidates is given more preference

AIIMS PG 2021: Counselling Process

The exam conducting body conducts the counselling for AIIMS PG 2021 through the online mode. For which, the candidates are required to register on the official AIIMS Delhi website. Post the seat allocation process, the candidates will be called for document verification and for the confirmation of their seats. Candidates need to carry the following documents in the original format such as, 

  • Offer Letter
  • Registration Slip
  • AIIMS Admit Card
  • Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional High School / Higher Secondary Certificate / Birth Certificate in proof of date of birth. 
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • MBBS / BDS Degree Certificate
  • Internship Completion Certificate / Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the internship
  • Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI /State Medical or Dental Council.

Further, the candidates must undergo a medical examination by the Board appointed by the Institute for admission in AIIMS.
