The Master of Civil Engineering (MCivilEng) is a taught postgraduate program that enhances an engineer’s knowledge and skills, improving their prospects for career progression. Acquiring advanced knowledge in Civil Engineering through the Master of Civil Engineering aims to produce graduates who:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • A qualification equivalent to a New Zealand university bachelor degree with a minimum overall grade comparable to a B grade at UC and in a relevant subject area, OR
  • Students must normally have completed one of the following:
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours with first or second class honors
    • Bachelor of Science with Honours with first or second class honors, in relevant subjects
    • Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering with a GPA of 5 or more

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • The minimum requirements are an overall average of 60% in each year and all prerequisite subjects.

English Language proficiency:

  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission to this program.
