Multimedia University (MMU) also known as the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology, is the first private research-intensive university established in Malaysia. It has three campuses in Cyberjaya, Melaka, and Johor along with 13 research centers focusing on Nanotechnology, biometric Malaysia, and virtual reality. MMU offers pre-bachelor programs, bachelor's degree, and some of the popular masters courses in Malaysia across its ten faculties.

Multimedia University follows a semester-based academic curriculum with four intakes per year in April, July, September, and November. Students can submit applications for the September session till July 20. Students can apply via online portal of MMU without an application fee. However, students need to pay an enrollment fee of 2,700 RM at the time of enrollment.

Multimedia University Admission Deadlines

International students must submit completed application forms along with required documents prior to application deadlines to study in Malaysia. There are four admission intakes in a year at Multimedia University in the months of April, July, September, and November. Deadlines for Foundation, Diploma, and Degree programs:

Visa Process for International Students

All international students must have a student visa to study in Malaysia. Students can apply for student passes through Multimedia University. Students can keep track of their application status on MMU online application website. They will receive the application feedback within 10 working days. If the applicants met the eligibility criteria adequately, then they will be issued with an enrolment letter from the university. After receiving the letter, students are required to submit the hard copy of the documents mentioned in the letter within a week and pay half of the tuition fees to study in Malaysia. Students will receive the admission offer letter from the university after completion of the above process.
