- The Radiography (Hons) degree from University College Dublin aim is to prepare graduate radiographers to meet the everyday challenges arising from ongoing advances in diagnostic imaging and healthcare.
- Radiography will first be demonstrated in UCD's own imaging facilities before you progress to performing examinations on patients. Teaching hospitals also participate in your training and you'll work alongside radiography colleagues to learn and refine your professional skills.
- Diagnostic imaging is a growth area in Ireland and internationally. All graduates in the past five years have obtained employment as radiographers. As well as the traditional hospital-based career, some radiographers are employed as applications or sales specialists.
- An increasing number of graduates are now undertaking PhD studies. Diagnostic imaging offers successful graduates exciting opportunities to pursue research and/or to develop specialist clinical skills.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Students require International A Level: At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C, or better, in the remaining subjects at GCSE; a total of six distinct subjects are required.
- International Baccalaureate: A1, A2, or B: 5 at Higher Level (4 at either level if presenting IB through English).
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL or PTE scores.
