i had visited just before inauguration when the building construction was getting completed and the place is good. hope it is progressing with providing good services to people. I am happy to see the good performance of the college and students and read the reviews. Mudbidri is a great place I loved when I visited in 2011. Its ideally located in a healthy rich place with good air water ambience etc. I have taken yoga and pranayama classes camps workshops seminars for Engineering college students. Chennai . Madurai. This college can invite senior experts like me, ( yoga , pranayama, food as medicine, lifestyle training). in various fields of human interests to give advice and lectures to teachers and students. C of Physiotherapy I suppose is having a section on osteopathy, muscle management of muscle imbalances. If interested I can try to invite an expert in osteopathy for a workshop One-Day , full. I want the students of Mudbidri, to excel in Physiotherapy with updated latest knowledge.

I am giving 5 Stars only so my review can be read. I studied my 1st-year BCOM with a CS professional in ALVAS. I left in the middle due to all the unnecessary pressure and problems that I faced. I had to pay college extra for leaving, which is not required. That is another way the college tries to make you stay and suffer. If you wish to spoil your mental health, you can surely join. There is nothing special in this college. Once you go to the campus, you will be manipulated by all the boardings of the students who are apparently "achievers." Please refrain from being convinced by it, especially if you seek professional course coaching like CA CS. College faculty will bring in guest lecturers who finish the portion within 7 to 8 days and leave. You will have classes from morning 8 AM to evening 6 PM with an interval of 1 hour. By the time you freshen up and start studying everything done in the day and frame doubts, the teachers will not be available. The pressure that will be put on you will take a toll on your mental health. You have various platforms online where you can get better service than "Alva's College" for a lesser cost. None of the teachers are cooperative or friendly. There is a lot of favoritism happening. And if you are planning to stay in a hostel and study, then may god help you. The washrooms will not be clean. The food they provide you will be either salty, bland, or dry. Once, during lunch, a LIZARD was found in the dal. The water supplied for drinking will also be given to you after RECYCLING. So, question yourself: is it worth studying where you dont have access to proper food ? The education that you will be provided will not be up to the mark. Is it really worth it, staying apart from your parents and struggling where you are constantly questioned and remarked upon everything that you do? Alvas is co-ed for name sake. The girls and boys are not supposed to be friendly around each other. If they are found clicking pictures, the guys will be hit by the wardens. If a girl is found being friendly with a guy, her parents are called and informed. There is a lot of discrimination in the hostels by the warden. Mallu girls are treated differently. Alvas only has a lot of goodwill and nothing apart from that. The campus will always be stinking. I hope you take an informed decision because it is a matter of 3 Years. Take reviews from various places and then decide.

One of the best educational institution of India. All types of education/ courses' schools and colleges are available under Alva's group. Sports, cultural activities, social activities are also held here. (Few pics of Virasat are here attached)
