- Hands-on teaching experience across D.A.V. Group of Schools, Chennai is provided to all trainees. They spend a substantial part of each day observing live classes and occasionally also conduct classes under the guidance of an experienced teacher.
- High caliber Faculty & subject matter experts deliver this program through classroom sessions & experiential learning workshops.
- Additionally, experienced D.A.V teachers are assigned as Guides so trainees are given focused individual attention.
- On completion, candidates would be able to confidently handle at least two subjects across I-X across any board.
- Subjects like values, health & wellness, leadership skills, logical reasoning, partnering with parents & technology in education are included in the curriculum.
- This program is open to graduates across disciplines whether they are fresh graduates or professionals looking for a career shift, homemakers who have taken a career break or existing teachers looking to upgrade their skills
- The PGCE program is not a replacement for B.Ed and trainees will also need to acquire the same for employment. Trainees can simultaneously pursue B.Ed by correspondence during the PGCE program.
