What’s new in the School of Policy and Governance (SPG): The School of Policy and Governance has announced a Certificate Course in Public Policy, through a well-paced 12-weekend, virtual program beginning on Saturday, 2 July 2022, and ending on Sunday, 18 September 2022.

The School of Policy and Governance (SPG)  is a non-profit entity established in 2017 offers a series of executive education programs. The institute’s first program was on the topic Building Online Communities for Civic Engagement in partnership with University

of New South Wales (UNSW) held in New Delhi and Chennai in the year 2017. The speakers were from BJP, Congress, Design for Obama and the George Institute. Other programs held by the Institute were Health Policy in India in 2018, in partnership with UNSW Sydney’s the George Institute; and Cyber and Privacy Policy in India in 2018, in partnership with UNSW Sydney and National Law School of India University); and, a four-day intensive program on ‘Emerging Security Challenges in South Asia’ in 2019 in Delhi, in partnership with UNSW Sydney and the Jindal School of International Affairs.

The Certificate Course in Public Policy Students and Professionals of all ages are welcome. We recommend that participants have an undergraduate degree. The course is entirely delivered online, featuring live webinars, workshops, self-study, interactive learning tools, and assignments to inculcate active policy Learning. INR 25,000+GST

The School of Policy and Governance is pleased to announce a Certificate Course in Public Policy, through a well-paced 12-weekend, virtual programme beginning on Saturday, 2 July, 2022, and ending on Sunday, 18 September, 2022. This course presents participant learners with a great opportunity to advance their understanding of public policy in India -- with the fundamentals of policy analysis, systemic hyper structures, and effective public policy dialogue, as well as knowledge and skills for practical implementation.

Assessments

  • Mid-Term Assignment Details of the nature of final assessments shall be communicated to all registered participant learners. Broadly, some of our tutors shall be designing in-class assessments. 
  • There will also be a descriptive mid-term assignment given to help students absorb the concepts taught in the theoretical modules and workshop and develop the ability to articulate their analysis and opinions coherently in writing. 
  • Assignments will be announced during the first workshop and released to the course webpage.

Ques. Does SPG provides PG level courses?

Ans. No, but the SPG plans to offer three Masters's programs and function as a research and education-based institution geared towards the developing world.

Ques. Where is the SPG campus located?

Ans. Currently SPG doesnt have any campus in India but they are working towards establishing a physical campus in India within five years.
