Webel Fujisoft Vara Centre of Excellence is an initiative of the Government of West Bengal, WEBEL in association with Fujisoft Inc. and Vara Technology is setting up a unique Centre of Excellence that brings together the key technologies of Industry 4.0 to provide hands-on training. The CoE brings together graduate students, professionals, start-ups, corporates, technology providers, and the government. It offers certificate courses in various disciplines such as cyber security, Data science and Data analytics. Admission to these courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the Institute. Top qualifying students would be eligible for scholarships.

Labs: The institute has a state-of-the-art 3D Manufacturing lab, Design lab, Data Sciences lab, Cyber Security lab and IoT Labs are open to start-ups, corporates and entrepreneurs.

Research and Development: The institute offers research and development services to corporates, entrepreneurs, and start-ups that have limited resources or would like to collaborate with the institute to create joint solutions for the market.

Classroom: The CoE features state-of-the-art classrooms which are designed to enhance the learning experience of individuals. The smart classrooms are fully equipped with wi-fi, audio-visual equipment and all the technology required to create a “plug and learn” environment.
