The Society, Behala Institute of Allied Health Sciences is formed by Doctor, Paramedics, Lawyer& Social Workers with the sole objects of spreading the benefit of Vocational Training to generate maximum number of self-employment. In line with the objects, a Vocational Training Institute is formed with proper infrastructure in the name as INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES at Behala, Kolkata in 2004 under affiliation of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education to run paramedical courses. Gradually, the Institute becomes authorized study centre of IASE Deemed University, EIILM University & Bharat Sevak Samaj. All the trainees can pursue Certificate, Diploma & Degree in one Institute under same roof. In 2008 for the first time we have participated in Scheme for Skill Development for Registered Job-Seekers by Ministry of Labour, Govt. of West Bengal. From 2009, the Institute, directly run & managed by the Society, is registered as Vocational Training Provider under DGET, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, in Modular Employable Skill (MES) scheme. From 2010 onwards we have been participating in Skill Development scheme of West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation.
