Phonics Power was founded with a vision to provide a scientific English learning experience to young children – an experience that will serve as a launch pad for their academic success and help them communicate effortlessly both in social and academic situations. When Phonics Power was founded in 2013, our goal was a simple one – all-round language development achieved through fun-filled and interactive learning processes. Today, we have branches across Chennai and hundreds of happy, young learners walk into our centres every year – but our goal still remains the same – enabling fun-filled and joyous language learning. To help us achieve this seemingly simple but practically difficult goal, we have brought internationally acclaimed language learning methodologies to our classrooms. We strongly believe that all the skills of the language are significantly important in providing a high-quality education in English. Our reading and spelling courses are structured around globally renowned Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar programmes, while our advanced level courses, focusing on speaking, comprehension and creative writing, are inspired by methodologies that follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and Cambridge English Qualifications.
