The primary objective of the IISSM is to promote and inculcate professionalism amongst both security practitioners individually and private security agencies in general. IISSM also aims at creating all round security awareness amongst non-security personnel. IISSM acts as the catalyst to bring together security and safety experts from all over the world at the forum of its Annual International Seminars for experience sharing and updating knowledge of the state-of-the-art technological advancements. The IISSM organises various kinds of short and long term training programmes - both thematic and customised - in the field of Security, Safety, Fire and Loss Prevention and related areas. At IISSM the training and development encompasses three main activities chiefly training, education, and development that are imparted through a well designed, customised and up to date course syllabi carefully prepared for each course. Presently the IISSM conducts courses in about 15 to 20 different contemporary topics related to Security & Safety management.
