- The goal of the master’s course is to train electrical engineers who are capable of implementing and expanding upon scientific methods to independently solve electrical engineering problems and to conceive, design, and implement electrical engineering solutions.
- Graduates of the master’s program develop deep knowledge and understanding of the core areas of modern electrical engineering, which builds upon and significantly expands the knowledge gained at the bachelor’s level.
- In addition, students can acquire specialized knowledge in areas of concentration such as automation engineering, energy engineering, communications engineering, or microelectronics.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equal recognized degree in Electrical Engineering or another program with largely equivalent content obtained at a German or foreign higher education institution, or a qualification which is recognized as equivalent at the level of at least three years of study.
- A bachelor's degree with an overall final grade of 2.7 or better, or a bachelor's thesis with a grade of 2.0 or better.
- If the degree has not yet been completed, the study achievements and exam results with a minimum of 140 credit points (ECTS-points) and an average grade of 2.7 or better are required.
