- Master of Science in Material Science at the Paderborn University is a 2-year (4 Semester) program.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students have to bachelors degree in:
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Materials Science
- Mechanical engineering (under certain constraints)
- Electrical engineering (under certain constraints)
- Related discipline (under certain constraints).
Language Requirement:
- Submission of the GRE result (for all non-EU applicants).
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution

- CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
- Copy of latest German language certificate – Students are required to submit a copy of the German Certificate.
- School Leaving Certificate – School-leaving certificate in the original language and a certified translation (certified copies) is required.
- Official Transcript – Students have to submit the transcripts of bachelor's degrees with all subjects, including marks and letters of motivation.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
