There are zero tuition fees for all students at TUM. However, all the students are entitled to pay a semester fee of 147.40€ ( 154.39 USD) which includes Student Union fees and the basic semester ticket for public transportation in Munich.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (at least 140 ECTS at the time of application) in Management and Technology, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable program.
- Applicants must also be able to prove that they are proficient in the English language at the time of application.
- Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from China, Bangladesh, India, Egypt and Pakistan have to submit a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) with at least 640 points with their application.
- A GMAT score of 600 points or higher will be accepted as proof of English language proficiency
- It is not necessary to prove any knowledge of German language at the time of application. However, as a foreign Student, you are required to provide proof of basic German language proficiency (comparable to A1 level) by the end of the second semester.

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.
To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.
