- Minimum requirements to apply for a Master's program at TUM are a recognized undergraduate degree (eg a bachelor's) and the successful completion of the aptitude assessment procedure.
- GATE or GRE (general) can be submitted optionally .

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.
To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.
International students applying for admission at TUM must submit a valid German Language Proficiency test certificate. You can check the admission requirements of the said program from BA Architecture at TUM.
