The Masters in English Studies is a four-semester programme delivered in the English language. Courses are offered in Linguistics (synchronic and diachronic), Literary and Cultural Studies and in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In addition, the opportunity is given to further improve students’ usage of the English language.
Tuition Fees
There are no tuition fees for this course. There is, however, a semester fee for each student comprising a student services contribution and a basic fee for public transportation is $284.715
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
The initial prerequisite in the selection procedure is the final grade of the first degree. As long as this is 2.5 or better (or the equivalent thereof), students will be admitted to a 30-minute written proficiency test (C-Test). This consists of several authentic texts in which half of every second word has been removed and needs to be reconstructed by the candidate

To apply for the Bachelor of Science program of LMU you must have completed a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. International students seeking admission at LMU must apply through the International Office of the university. Please check the admission requirements for undergdauate admission at this university from LMU Admissions.
