The subject of geography combines scientific and sociological approaches and lies in an overlap between geo, bio, social and economic sciences.
The course deals with spatial development problems and the interactions between people and the environment, especially between economic activities and the natural balance.
It is internationally oriented and examines natural, social and economic areas in different continents. Natural risks, landscape ecological studies, urban development, and international relations are of particular importance.
The bachelor's program in Geography imparts fundamental knowledge, facts, methods, and ways of thinking in the science of geography as well as the ability to deepen these and apply them in the profession.
