- The European Master in Classical Cultures is an international master’s program in Classical Studies. Students complete this interdisciplinary course at least two universities with different languages (at most three).
- Graduates acquire a master's degree from the universities at which they studied and completed the corresponding academic achievements.
- Twelve universities from nine countries (Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Austria, Spain, Poland, Turkey, and Cyprus) are involved in the development of the course. The core area comprises the three fields of Ancient History, Classical Philology, and Archeology.

Tuition Fees
There is no tuition fees. The semester fee for the winter semester 2019/20 is € 328.00.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Applicants must meet the following requirements to access the Master's program:
- a professionally relevant first professionally qualifying university degree, i.e. a degree in ancient history, classical archeology or classical philology or similar.
- Knowledge of the German language (when studying in Hamburg)
- Knowledge of two other modern languages ??(at least one official language of one of the partner universities)
- Proof of (ancient) Greek or Latin knowledge
