Process engineering is the engineering science of physical, chemical and biological material conversion with special attention to economy and sustainability. Petroleum to gasoline, plastics and many other products; Coal, oil, gas, wind and renewable raw materials for energy; Milk to yogurt; Hops, malt and water to beer; Potatoes and cereals to alcohol; Removal of pollutants from water, exhaust gas and soil are just a few examples of such material conversion processes.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of German: A1 when applying, DSH-2 for studying.
- Alternatives to the DSH exam: You do not have to take the DSH exam if you can show one of the following certificates:
- "German Language Diploma" of the Minister of Education Conference - Level II (DSD II).
- Passed the "Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung" (ZOP) of the Goethe Institute.
- "Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom" or "Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom".
- Test "German as a foreign language" (Test DaF), level 4 in all areas.
- Passed German part of the assessment test.
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
