The master´s program in European Languages aims at imparting inter- and transdisciplinary competencies within the field of linguistics. The disciplines represented within the study program regard historical linguistics, linguistic areas, and linguistic systems as well as pragmalinguistics and range from the linguistics of German and English to those of the Slavic and the Romance languages. Furthermore, students deepen their knowledge of French, Italian or Spanish and of Russian, Polish or Czech.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the entry requirements to this program :
- A university degree with partly linguistic content
- knowledge of German (C1 / DSH 2) and knowledge of English (B 2) as well as knowledge of one of the following languages: Italian (A 1), Polish (A 1), Czech (A 1), Russian (A 1), Spanish (A 2) French (B 1) and an aptitude interview
