The Department of Mechanical Engineering aims at offering a broad, general and thorough programme, thus enabling students to pursue independent research. Therefore, the programme B.Sc. Maschinenbau – Mechanical and Process Engineering has at its core a systematic approach to mechanical engineering's fundamentals. During the subsequent Master's programme and doctoral studies, in-depth research and specialisation on specific subjects are possible.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Followings are the requirements for this program:
- Test German as a foreign language for foreign applicants (TestDaF) with a final result of TDN 16; only one TDN 3 may be compensated for by one TDN 5.
- German Language Diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education - Second Level (DSD-II)
- Goethe Certificate C2: Great German Language Diploma.
