- The financial and economic mathematics applies the knowledge of mathematics with the help of computer-oriented methods to the practical needs of finance and economics.
- From a mathematical point of view, it is about optimization problems on the one hand and the control of random events and processes on the other. That is why students will focus on mathematical optimization, stochastics, and numerics in this course.
- Students will receive a broad scientific education in the mathematical, information and economic fundamentals and methods. They will also acquire extensive knowledge in the areas of applied mathematical and quantitative questions in economics.
