Tuition Fees
There are no tuition fees but students have to pay 110 euros per semester to cover student services and a semester bus pass.
The course is research-oriented and serves to deepen scientific and application-related qualifications. Students will be taught the use of chemical-analytical, physiological-biochemical, molecular-biological, biophysical and biostatistical methods for the investigation and discussion of molecular-ecological questions. Objects of investigation are prokaryotes, fungi, higher plants, arthropods and vertebrates in terrestrial and aquatic (freshwater) ecosystems, but also genetically modified organisms (e.g. transgenic plants.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Student required a Bachelor's degree in biology or biochemistry (with at least one compulsory elective module in biology) from the University of Bayreuth or an equivalent degree.
- The German language is required.
