- The chemical and environmental technology course focuses on fields of activity in the industrial areas of chemistry, biotechnology, environmental protection, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, and food.
- The sustainability of processes and products, as well as the use of renewable raw materials, are of growing importance. In the broad-based course of study, learning content from the fields of chemistry, environment and process engineering is interdisciplinary. Characteristic of this course is the integration of biology and (bio) chemistry of renewable raw materials and the imparting of knowledge on the extraction and analysis of natural products as well as the relevant technical processes.

- Approx. 80% according to the average grade of the university entrance qualification.
- A minimum grade is required as a prerequisite for admission to a number of master's programs. B. Passing the diploma or bachelor's exam with at least 2.5.
