- MSc in Physics at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is a 2-year (4 semesters) program.
- The program starts in the winter semester/summer semester.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- The MSc Physics focuses on the mathematical and natural sciences.
- It comprises advanced and specialized lectures, courses from the areas of experimental and theoretical physics, and from a supplemental subject outside of physics, typically from mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering sciences.

Tuition Fees
- There is no tuition fee for international students. Students have to submit the semester fee which is around 280 EUR per semester.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Language Requirement:
Students must pass the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang” (DSH-2) as evidence that student's spoken and written command of the German language is adequate for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs for which the language of instruction is German.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution

- Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education and list of grades and subjects in the original language, and a certified translation (certified copies).

- Language Proof – Proof of students’ language skills (certified copy).
