Biomedical engineering is a multidisciplinary field in which the principles of engineering are applied to solving problems in biology and medicine. Quantitative, analytical, and integrative methods are applied from the molecular level to the entire organism. This broadens our understanding of basic biological processes and enables us to develop innovative approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement

All applicants to the Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering whose native language is not German, or who have not completed their university degree at a German-language university, may submit a B1 level German language certificate at the time of application.

All applicants who do not submit proof of German language ability as described above at the time of admission must submit such proof by the beginning of the third semester in order to continue their studies.
