The Bachelor courses in Costume Design at the UdK Berlin are among the few of their kind in Europe. Costume Design is telling stories about people.
Its focus is on the human, the body, and its appearance. This lies at the heart of the stories that artists in theatre and film want to show and tell their audiences.
The courses in Costume Design take into account current trends in contemporary theatre which make the professional field and the consequent position of the costume designer increasingly complex.

There is no tuition free. All students of Berlin universities have to pay a sum of currently ca. 320 euros per semester.
